Jamie Murray: 'Davis Cup doubles victory was magic'

Jamie Murray says that defeating Australia in the doubles rubber of Great Britain's Davis Cup tie with brother Andy was "magic".

Jamie Murray has said that the Davis Cup doubles victory against Australia was "magic".

Great Britain hold a 2-1 lead going into the final two singles matches after Jamie and Andy Murray defeated Lleyton Hewitt and Sam Groth 4-6 6-3 6-4 6-7 6-4 in Glasgow.

"We let it slip a bit but we kept fighting and got right back on it. It was so good, it was so noisy, it was magic," Jamie Murray told BBC Sport.

"Scottish people don't get the chance to see Andy play very much and when they do they let him know it."

Great Britain will progress to the Davis Cup final if Andy Murray defeats Bernard Tomic tomorrow.
