Jelena Jankovic has eased into the fifth round of the French Open courtesy of a straight-sets victory over Jamie Hampton this afternoon.
The Serbian dominated her opponent in the first set and also made short work of the American in the second, eventually securing a 6-0 6-2 win.
Jankovic was only taken to deuce in two games of the first set as she saw off the world number 54 with ease. She needed four set points in the final game before she finally put Hampton away for a 6-0 win.
Hampton made a better start to the second set by breaking Jankovic in the first game, but the Serb hit back to two consecutive breaks to take control of the set, eventually going on to win 6-2 by breaking Hampton again in the final game.
