Ana Ivanovic has booked her place in the semi-finals at Indian Wells with a straight-sets win over Marion Bartoli.
The Serbian had her first service game broken against the world number seven before she grabbed a break back instantly.
Ivanovic then matched her opponent before she broke again at 5-3 to serve out the set 6-3.
The 24-year-old came out fighting in the second and broke Bartoli's first service game. Ivanovic was the rarely troubled as she took the set 6-4 to claim the match.
