Maria Kirilenko has revealed the she and doubles partner Nadia Petrova were given Audis by Russian president Vladimir Putin for winning the bronze medal at the London Olympics.
The pair came from a set down to beat the American team of Lisa Raymond and Liezel Huber at Wimbledon earlier this month.
All Russian medallists are understood to have been rewarded with cars.
"It's a good car," Kirilenko told the New Haven Register.
Kirilenko and Petrova will both feature at the US Open, which starts on Monday.
