British teenager Kyle Edmund has won a match on the ATP World Tour for the first time in his career.
The 18-year-old from East Yorkshire overcame France's Kenny De Schepper 6-4 6-4 in the first round at the AEGON International in Eastbourne on Monday.
World number 442 Edmund is ranked 360 places below De Schepper, who reached the second round at Wimbledon last year.
Edmund, who will enter Wimbledon as a wildcard next week, will face world number 17 Gilles Simon in round two at Eastbourne.
