Dustin Brown: Centre Court "felt familiar"

Germany's Dustin Brown admits that Centre Court "felt familiar" after beating two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal in his first match on the court.

Dustin Brown has admitted that Centre Court "felt familiar" despite having never played on the court before his second-round match against Rafael Nadal.

The German shocked the two-time champion in four sets yesterday, matching his best ever run at the grass-court Grand Slam.

The 30-year-old told reporters: "I had never been on the Centre Court at all before. I thought I would freak out a little. But actually it felt familiar, perhaps because of the match in Halle, even though that isn't as big a court. I felt comfortable."

Brown, who had to go through the qualifiers to secure his place in the draw, faces Serbia's Viktor Troicki in the third round.
