Kyle Edmund has revealed that Andy Murray has helped his progression up the world rankings during 2015.
The Beverley hitter has improved 90 places since the start of the year, and ahead of his appearance at Wimbledon next week, the British number three has spoken about the influence of Murray as he looks to establish himself on the ATP Tour.
The 20-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Andy has been great both on and off to me, and made me feel comfortable. He's a great role-model and a legend of British tennis, and you always have to pinch yourself when you speak with those kind of guys.
"He's given me plenty of advice about my game and how to act on tour, like having to pace yourself and not get too up-and-down emotionally. To have someone in your corner like Andy has been, I'm very fortunate and it's never taken for granted."
Edmund will play Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov in the opening round at SW19.
