Sam Querrey has continued his fine form in Nottingham by reaching the final with a three-set victory over Alexandr Dolgopolov.
The big-serving American had already seen off fifth seed Pablo Cuevas and second seed Gilles Simon earlier in the week, but he found himself a set behind to his Ukrainian opponent.
However, Querrey broke three times during the following two sets to record a 4-6 6-3 7-5 triumph over Dolgopolov, who had defeated Rafael Nadal at Queen's last week.
Denis Istomin will play Querrey in Saturday's final after the Uzbekistan hitter benefited from the withdrawal of Marcos Baghdatis after just three games.
The Cypriot suffered a calf problem, and with Wimbledon just three days away, he opted to take no chances with the injury.
