Agnieszka Radwanska reveals that it is a childhood dream to reach the Wimbledon final following her victory over Angelique Kerber.

Agnieszka Radwanska has revealed that she has achieved a childhood dream of reaching a Grand Slam final after she beat Angelique Kerber at Wimbledon.

The world number three will be the first Polish player since 1937 to play in a singles final at SW19 following her straight-sets triumph over the German.

"I played really well today," the 23-year-old told reporters. "I think we were both a little nervous at the beginning.

"This is what I was dreaming of since I was a kid. It's everyone's dream to play tennis in a Grand Slam final."

Radwanska will become the world number one if she beats Serena Williams in Saturday's final.

The American saw off Victoria Azarenka to make it through to her seventh singles final at the All England Club.
