Marin Cilic through at Wimbledon

Marin Cilic sees off the challenge from veteran Marcos Baghdatis to secure his place in round two of Wimbledon.

World number 12 Marin Cilic booked his place in round two of Wimbledon, thanks to a 6-3 6-4 6-4 win over Marcos Baghdatis this afternoon.

A break in each set proved to be the difference between Cilic and his Cypriot opponent, who struggled from the outset to challenge Cilic's service game.

It meant that having broken, Cilic was able to take control of each set and subsequently go on to secure his place in the next round at SW19.

He will now take on either Kenny De Schepper or Paolo Lorenzi for a place in the third round.
