Raymond van Barneveld has taken a huge step towards qualifying for the Premier League playoffs with two victories in Birmingham on Thursday night.
In the second match of the night, the defending champion fought back from 4-0 behind to record a 7-5 win over Gary Anderson, who accused the Dutchman of distracting him when throwing at double for the draw.
Van Barneveld returned at the end of the evening to ease to a 7-2 triumph over Adrian Lewis to move to within two points of a place in the semi-finals.
Lewis also suffered defeat at the hands of Dave Chisnall, who beat the Stoke-on-Trent thrower 7-4 to confirm his spot in the last four.
Michael van Gerwen remains in first place after a 7-4 success over Phil Taylor, but both James Wade and Stephen Bunting have been eliminated after playing out a 6-6 draw.
