Team GB's Jordan Houlden "over the moon" with fourth place

Team GB diver Jordan Houlden tells Sports Mole that he is pleased with finishing fourth in the men's 3m event at the European Games.

Jordan Houlden has said that he is "over the moon" with his fourth-place finish in the men's 3m springboard event at the European Games in Baku.

The 16-year-old built on a solid performance in the earlier preliminary round to record a total of 511.90 for fourth, less than nine points off the bronze medal.

"I'm feeling great," Houlden told Sports Mole afterwards. "I'm over the moon with my performance. I feel a little bit gutted not to get bronze but I'm still a year younger than most of the other divers so I'm still alright."

Houlden's teammate James Heatly claimed gold in the event, taking his personal tally to three medals in three days.
