Diving gold for Team GB's James Heatly at European Games

Team GB's James Heatly wins gold in the men's 3m springboard final in Baku this afternoon, his third medal of the European Games.

Team GB's James Heatly has claimed gold in the men's 3m springboard final in Baku this afternoon, with his teammate Jordan Houlden just missing out on a medal.

Heatly finished with a score of 541.65 to finish first, ahead of Italy's Ruslan Adriano Cristofori (523.30) and Russia's Ilia Molchanov (520.35).

Great Britain's Heatly claimed the highest-scoring dive of the final after his fourth turn (of five) was given 73.50.

Meanwhile, Houlden narrowly missed out on bronze with a final score of 511.90.

The gold is Heatly's third medal of the European Games, having picked up silver and bronze on Thursday.
