Arsenal have reportedly ruled out defender Shkodran Mustafi for this weekend's trip to Watford with a thigh injury.
The 25-year-old has started five of the Gunners' last six games but now faces a spell on the sidelines after being forced off the field just 36 minutes into Germany's victory over Azerbaijan at the weekend.
The defender has since returned to England for assessment by Arsenal's medical staff, and according to Sky Sports News, he will not be fit enough to compete at Vicarage Road on Saturday night.
Following the incident, Germany manager Joachim Low said that he expects Mustafi to be on the sidelines for a 'long' time, with initial estimates putting him out until mid-November.
Arsene Wenger is also likely to be without the services of Laurent Koscielny and Calum Chambers for this weekend's game, which will see the Gunners look to move into the top four.
