Report: Arsenal send doctors to Brazil for medical report on Everton Soares

Arsenal are reportedly sending doctors to Brazil to conduct a medical on Gremio striker Everton Soares ahead of a potential £25m move to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have reportedly sent doctors to Brazil to conduct a medical with Gremio attacker Everton Soares.

The Gunners have been strongly linked with the forward this summer after he netted three goals at the recent Copa America tournament.

Fox Sports in Brazil report that Arsenal have sent doctors to Porto Alegre to assess the medical condition of the 23-year-old ahead of a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

The report suggests that the Brazilian international is close to completing a deal with the London club for a fee of around £25m with performance-based bonuses on top of that.

The move for Everton could be Unai Emery's second signing of the summer, following on from the arrival of another Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.
