Diego Simeone expecting Almeria test

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone claims that Valencia and Sevilla are their main competitors "at the moment".

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has called on his side to focus ahead of tomorrow's La Liga clash with Almeria.

The Spanish champions have won two and drawn two of their four league games this season, leaving Valencia and Sevilla ahead of them in the table.

"I don't know what you guys think. It's clear to me at least. Our competitors at the moment are Valencia and Sevilla who are ahead of us, but they haven't played Real Madrid or Barcelona yet. We've played Madrid and beaten them," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Tomorrow is a big game for us, and we'll find a well organised team who have improved recently."

Barcelona currently lead La Liga with 12 points.
