Diego Simeone: 'Neymar lets himself down by diving'

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone believes that Barcelona forward Neymar lets himself down by diving.

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has claimed that Barcelona forward Neymar lets himself down by diving.

Neymar scored the equaliser for Barcelona as the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday, but Simeone believes that the Brazilian's performances are overshadowed by going to ground too easily.

"Diving is his characteristic, like Alexis Sanchez did when I coached him at River Plate," the Atletico coach told reporters.

"This part of his game lets him down."

The second leg of the tie takes place in the Spanish capital next Wednesday.
