Saturday's Premier League predictions including Leeds vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League action, including Leeds United vs. Manchester City.

Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Chelsea will be keen to put a challenging week behind them when they welcome London rivals Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge in Saturday's lunchtime Premier League kickoff.

Frank Lampard's side were forced to pull off a three-goal comeback at West Bromwich Albion last weekend before being knocked out of the EFL Cup in midweek, while Palace are also looking to bounce back from a defeat.

We say: Chelsea 2-1 Crystal Palace

This is a difficult to match to call given Chelsea's defensive struggles already this season, but Mendy's arrival should help them to tighten things up at the back a bit more.

Palace were desperately unfortunate to lose last weekend and will put up a good fight, but their record against Chelsea is poor and we expect the hosts to just about edge it again this time around.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Everton vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Everton will be looking to continue their 100% start to the new season when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees have won all six of their competitive outings so far this term - including three from three in the league - whereas Brighton are looking to bounce back from two home defeats to Manchester United in the space of four days.

We say: Everton 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton have never won an away match against Everton and, considering the Toffees have scored 12 goals in their three home games so far this season, that looks unlikely to change here.

The Seagulls pose a much greater attacking threat this season and, if they perform as they did against Man United last weekend - with a more clinical edge - then there is every chance that they could come away with something from this game.

However, Everton are flying at the moment and, even without the injured Allan, should have enough to maintain their perfect record and make their best start to a season in 126 years.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Leeds vs. Man City (Saturday, 5.30pm)

The master takes on his most celebrated apprentice on Saturday when Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United welcome Pep Guardiola's Manchester City to Elland Road.

The newly-promoted hosts go into the match off the back of successive league victories, whereas Man City will be keen to bounce back from their 5-2 defeat at home to Leicester City last weekend.

We say: Leeds United 2-3 Manchester City

It has been a bonkers season as far as goals are concerned so far - 103 flying in from just 28 games - and few fixtures promise goals as much as this one on the basis of what we have seen in the opening weeks.

There is every chance that Leeds could get something from this game, and if they play like they did against Liverpool and Man City play like they did against Leicester then they could even help themselves to a few goals in the process.

Such is the mouth-watering nature of this tie and the incredible rate of goals flying in around the league that there is a temptation to go for an even higher-scoring match, but we have reined ourselves in and are backing Man City to run out 3-2 winners.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Newcastle vs. Burnley (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Burnley's search for their first points of the 2020-21 Premier League season will continue on Saturday night when they head to St James' Park to face Newcastle United.

Sean Dyche's side have lost their first two league games of the campaign to Leicester City and Southampton, but Newcastle have picked up four points from their first three top-flight encounters this term.

We say: Newcastle United 2-1 Burnley

Newcastle have only won one of their last three Premier League games with Burnley, while the Magpies were really disappointing in their last league game at home to Brighton. Burnley are struggling for results and performances at the moment, though, and we expect Bruce's side to collect all three points here.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
