Team News: Fernando Torres starts ahead of Demba Ba for Chelsea

Fernando Torres is preferred ahead of Demba Ba for Chelsea's visit of Crystal Palace.

Fernando Torres starts up front for Chelsea against Crystal Palace this afternoon.

However, the Spaniard has been selected ahead of Ba by manager Jose Mourinho, with Eden Hazard, Willian and Juan Mata operating behind the former Liverpool striker.

Palace are without Dean Moxey, but Maraouane Chamakh and Cameron Jerome are named up top for Tony Pulis's Eagles.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Azpilicueta, Essien, Ramires, Willian, Mata, Hazard, Torres

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Mariappa, Delaney, Gabbidon, Ward, Jedinak, Dikgacoi, Bannan, Puncheon, Chamakh, Jerome
