England boss Gareth Southgate has revealed that Marcus Rashford has sustained an injury to his knee.
Rashford impressed during last week's 2-0 victory over Costa Rica, netting with a 25-yard strike during the first half of the friendly at Elland Road.
However, the Manchester United forward appears to be a doubt for England's World Cup opener with Tunisia next Monday after picking up 'a knock' during a game between members of the squad at the start of this week.
England touched down in Russia on Tuesday and upon their arrival, Southgate revealed that the 20-year-old had an issue with his knee and is currently being assessed by the Three Lions medical staff.
If fit, Rashford is in contention for a starting role in Volgograd next week, but Southgate is unlikely to take any risks with the fitness of the attacker.
