Everton are reportedly interested in signing both Ferdi Kadioglu and Rogerio to add to their full-back options ahead of next season.

Everton have reportedly enquired about signing full-back pairing Ferdi Kadioglu and Rogerio.

Kadioglu is now a regular Turkey international after impressing with Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, earning 11 caps already by the age of 23.

Rogerio has spent six seasons at Sassuolo, either side of a brief transfer to Juventus which saw him loaned back to the Neroverdi, where he has often been a regular at left-back.

Turkish Football claims that Everton have been scouting Kadioglu and that initial talks have taken place.

Kadioglu is a right-sided player comfortable playing both as a full-back or a winger, and he put up some impressive attacking stats from right-back last season.

The 23-year-old contributed to nine goals as a marauding full-back for the Super Lig runners-up, and he has played in all four of Turkey's Euro 2024 qualifiers so far.

Fener opted to buy Kadioglu after a season with NEC Nijmegen which saw him score eight and assist 11 goals, as well as earn regular call-ups for the Dutch Under-21 side, briefly representing the country of his birth.

The club now values the player at around €20m (£17m), given that Kadioglu remains under contract at Fenerbahce until 2026.

TuttoMercatoWeb claims that Rogerio will be available at a much lower price than that, with the Brazilian entering the final year of his contract in Emilia-Romagna.

After Ruben Vinagre's loan deal with the club ended, Vitalii Mykolenko is now Everton's only first-team option at left-back.

The report states that Everton have 'requested information' on Rogerio, with Everton needing to capitalise on any cut-price deals given their continued financial difficulties.

Despite an all-round disappointing season which saw Sassuolo finish down in 13th, Rogerio still featured in some eye-catching victories for the Neroverdi, away to AC Milan and Roma and at home to Juventus, all in the second half of the season.

Links for the two players come amid news that Ashley Young is set to sign for the club on a free transfer.

Young, similarly to Kadioglu, has been converted into a full-back from a winger, and will provide additional cover after Everton suffered numerous defensive injuries in the latter stages of the last season.

Young covered at right-back frequently for Matty Cash at Aston Villa last season, and the Toffees are expected to be without Seamus Coleman for the start of the campaign, while Nathan Patterson also recovers from a recent injury.
