Team News: Mario Gomez returns for Fiorentina

Mario Gomez, Juan Cuadrado, Borja Valero and Joaquin all return to the Fiorentina starting XI for their Serie A match against Cagliari.

Mario Gomez has returned to the starting lineup for Fiorentina ahead of this afternoon's Serie A match against Cagliari.

The German was not involved in the club's Europa League match against Guingamp on Thursday, but comes in to replace Khouma Babacar in attack.

Juan Cuadrado, Borja Valero and Joaquin are also back in the starting XI for Vincenzo Montella's side.

Cagliari have made two changes from last weekend's 3-3 draw with Napoli, as Daniele Conti and Alessandro Capello are both handed starts.

Cagliari: Cragno, Crisetig, Conti, Cossu, Pisano, Rossettini, Farias, Ekdal, Balzano, Ibarbo, Ceppittelli

Fiorentina: Neto, Savic, Gonzalo, Basanta, Alonso, Mati, Pizarro, Valero, Joaquin, Cuadrado, Gomez
