Huddersfield Town refuse to comment on Jordan Rhodes transfer speculation.

Huddersfield Town have refused to comment on the transfer speculation that has surrounded their striker Jordan Rhodes.

Rhodes has attracted interest from various clubs over the summer, including Blackburn Rovers and Fulham, but Huddersfield chief executive Nigel Clibbens has insisted that the club will keep to their 'no comment' policy.

Clibbens told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: "During the course of the summer, as we knew would happen, there has been lots of speculation in the press and media about Jordan Rhodes leaving Huddersfield Town.

"It could be distracting if we took notice of all the stories. Throughout this speculation, we have made the decision not to comment, as this would only add fuel to the fire.

"When any club enquires about a player, we always adopt a professional and confidential approach mention nothing publicly as it is the right thing to do."

Rhodes scored 40 goals for Huddersfield last season.
