Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Porto vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Wednesday's Champions League last 16 fixtures - Porto vs. Juventus and Sevilla vs. Borussia Dortmund.

The reigning champions of Portugal and Italy go head-to-head at Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday evening, with Porto hosting Juventus as the Champions League returns after winter hibernation.

This last-16 first leg tie sees several old acquaintances reunited in the picturesque port city, all of whom will want to replicate their club's continental form so far, rather than more inconsistent domestic displays.

We say: Porto 1-1 Juventus

In a competition where they regularly reach the last-16 but are almost always found to be short of certain vital ingredients, Porto are not expected to progress, but they have a strong enough defensive record to suggest they could shackle Juventus on home soil.

With the Bianconeri also demonstrating some vulnerability of late, the hosts can pick up a draw which would leave them at least in with a shout of staging a successful trip to Turin in the return.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sevilla vs. Dortmund (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Sevilla take on Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 knockout tie at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The two clubs have not met since the group stage of the Europa League in the 2009-10 season, with both still looking to establish themselves at Europe's top table.

We say: Sevilla 1-0 Borussia Dortmund

We expect Sevilla to be too strong for Dortmund given the recently contrasting form of the two sides, with an eighth successive clean sheet in all competitions the priority for the hosts.

Should Dortmund manage to score an away goal, though, they will feel they have every chance of turning Lopetegui's side over back in Germany.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
