Gian Piero Gasperini targets Juventus upset

Genoa manager Gian Piero Gasperini says that his team want to "trouble" Juventus when the two teams meet in Serie A this evening.

Genoa manager Gian Piero Gasperini has said that his team are highly motivated to achieve a positive result in their match against Juventus this evening.

The Bianconeri claimed a 2-0 win when the two sides met earlier this season, and Gasperini is keen for his players to show how much they have improved since.

"Tomorrow we'll be facing the best Juventus side and that is very motivating for us," he told reporters. "It is important to give 110% and put in a great performance. Juve have always given their best, but we will try to show how much we've improved since the last meeting.

"I want to see a Genoa side that knows everything is up for grabs. We'll do everything within our capabilities to trouble Juventus.

"This is a highly prestigious test and we are on home turf, so that'll be an advantage. Juve are capable of hurting anyone and have won practically every game this season."

Genoa are currently 12th in the Serie A table.
