Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton is reportedly wanted by Championship side Middlesbrough in a late deadline day deal that could fetch 'significantly' more than £10m.
The 22-year-old has already enjoyed successful loans in the second tier with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City, but he has only made fleeting appearances under Arne Slot in the 2024-25 season.
Morton has only five senior appearances for the Reds in all competitions this season, and the last time he made a Premier League squad was back in December during their 2-2 draw with Fulham.
The midfielder did appear in the recent 3-2 Champions League loss to PSV Eindhoven, but he was again overlooked for a place in the first XI and has only started EFL Cup and FA Cup matches this season.
As Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Wataru Endo are all above Morton in the pecking order, the England Under-21 international is apparently pining for regular first-team football for the second half of the campaign.

According to journalist Paul Joyce, Boro are now exploring a deadline day deal for the 2002-born lynchpin, who was also on the radar of Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen during the summer window.
The second-tier side are reportedly keen to strike a permanent deal for Morton, and any fee could rise 'significantly' above £10m when all bonuses and performance-related add-ons are hit.
Middlesbrough - who are managed by ex-Manchester United and England midfielder Michael Carrick - already have one Liverpool loanee in their ranks in the shape of Scottish attacker Ben Doak.
The 19-year-old Scot has thrived under Carrick's wing with three goals and seven assists from 24 Championship matches this season, and Liverpool and Boro's previous dealings in the transfer market have allowed them to build up a 'good relationship'.
Doak's form has helped Middlesbrough emerge as promotion contenders as they lie seventh in the Championship table, only below West Bromwich Albion in the lowest of the relegation places on goal difference.
Could any other Liverpool players leave before transfer deadline?

Morton - who was wanted by Bayer Leverkusen last summer - is keen for more regular football.
The two clubs have a good...
Having proven his worth twice in the Championship with Blackburn and Hull - registering three goals and five assists in 41 matches for the latter during the 2023-24 season - Morton had seemingly done everything in his power to break into the Liverpool first team.
However, the unexpected rise of Gravenberch under Slot has made it far more difficult for Morton to make his mark, and the 22-year-old could now depart the Reds with a record of one assist from 14 appearances.
Morton should not be the only departure from Anfield on deadline day, as young striker Jayden Danns is expected to complete a loan switch to Sunderland after signing a new deal at Anfield.
On the other hand, 20-year-old midfielder James McConnell is expected to remain on the books with Slot's side as they compete for a Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup and Champions League quadruple in the second half of the season.
