Yaya Toure has reportedly returned from international duty early to make sure he is available for Manchester City's clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The midfielder was rumoured to be a doubt for the game at the Etihad Stadium as he was expected to arrive in England on Friday after playing in the Ivory Coast's defeat to DR Congo on Wednesday.
However, Toure caught an earlier flight back to Manchester to prove his fitness to Manuel Pellegrini and the club's medical staff, according to The Mirror.
The report claims that the 31-year-old trained on Thursday, and is likely to be named in the team to face Spurs.
Pellegrini's side are currently second in the Premier League.
