Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says that he will not be looking to add to his squad in January.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he will not be looking to add to his squad when the January transfer window opens for business.

The Citizens have struggled in the Premier League at the start of the 2020-21 campaign, picking up just 12 points from eight matches to occupy 14th spot in the table.

There had been suggestions that City could look to boost their squad at the start of 2021, with a new striker potentially arriving due to Sergio Aguero's injury problems.

However, Guardiola has insisted that he is happy with the strength of his squad, telling reporters: "Not at all (we do not need new players), I have a fantastic team to fight for all the titles."

The former champions have picked up just one win from their last four league matches and suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

City will face Burnley and Fulham in their next two domestic matches before travelling to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on December 12.
