Manchester City could move for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci in this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly interested in a summer move for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.

The Citizens are expected to bring a new central defender to the club ahead of the 2019-20 campaign following Vincent Kompany's departure.

Leicester City's Harry Maguire has been linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium, although it is thought that Manchester United now lead the race for the England international.

According to Corriere dello Sport, City are one of a number of clubs interested in Bonucci, who could be allowed to leave the Italian champions this summer following the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt.

Bonucci only returned to the Juventus Stadium last summer after one season with AC Milan.

The 32-year-old has won seven Serie A titles during a glittering career, while he has also been capped on 89 occasions by the Italian national team.
