Real Madrid pull out of the race for Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Harry Kane, according to a report.

Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out of the race for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.

The centre-forward sparked rumours that he could leave Jose Mourinho's side this summer by admitting that he would consider his future if he felt that the club were not heading in the right direction.

Both Madrid and Manchester United have since been strongly linked with the England captain.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos have now ruled themselves out of the running for the striker, who is currently recovering from a hamstring operation.

The report claims that Los Blancos, like Spurs, have their fears when it comes to the financial impact of the current coronavirus outbreak, which has seen the majority of football across the globe postponed.

As a result, Zinedine Zidane's side allegedly have 'no intention' of moving for the 26-year-old, who has a contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until the summer of 2024.

Kane, meanwhile, would allegedly rather join Man United over the Spanish giants if he were to seek pastures new ahead of next season.
