Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi reportedly asked to miss training today amid transfer speculation surrounding him.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Spanish outfit last year, has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Manchester City this summer.
Spanish newspaper AS reports that the Argentine asked Valencia manager Nuno if he could miss training in an effort to hasten a potential move away from the Mestalla.
Otamendi, who made 35 La Liga appearances for Valencia last season, apparently claimed that he was not in the right frame of mind to train with his teammates.
