Roma have reportedly identified Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot as a potential transfer target ahead of the January window.
Despite enjoying a strong start to the season, Roma's capitulation at Hellas Verona on Sunday suggested that defensive reinforcements may be required in the future.
According to Calciomercato, Jose Mourinho is contemplating whether to make a bid for Portugal international Dalot.
The 22-year-old is no stranger to life in Serie A having made 10 starts and 11 substitute outings during a loan spell with AC Milan last season.
Dalot has since only been provided with 54 minutes in all competitions by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, both appearances coming off the substitutes' bench.
Mourinho signed his compatriot during his stay at United in 2018.
