Alexis Sanchez is reportedly 'desperate' to secure a transfer away from Manchester United this summer.

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly acknowledged that he needs to secure a transfer away from Manchester United.

The Chile international has only spent 16 months at Old Trafford, but the attacker has failed to produce the form which led to him being a success at Arsenal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be keen to part ways with the attacker this summer, and The Sun claims that Sanchez is happy to follow the wishes of his manager.

The report suggests that the 30-year-old is 'desperate' to find another club, although it remains unclear whether Sanchez would be prepared to take a pay cut.

Sanchez has been linked with a return to Serie A, with Juventus and Inter Milan having allegedly held discussions with United over the past week.
