  • Not giving up: Tottenham star 'still wanted' by Saudi Pro League

Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min is reportedly still a target for the Saudi Pro League ahead of the expiry of his Lilywhites contract in 2025.

The South Korea international has rediscovered his mojo since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou, who bestowed him with the armband following the exits of Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane in 2023.

Son already has two goals under his belt from three games in the 2024-25 campaign, having netted 17 times while providing 10 assists in 35 top-flight contests during the 2023-24 season.

However, the former Bayer Leverkusen man's long-term future is still up in the air, as he could enter pre-contract talks with foreign clubs from January onwards should he enter the last six months of his deal.

Swooping for an Eagle? Man City, Liverpool 'to battle' for £22m midfielder

Manchester City have reportedly earmarked Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton as an ideal signing but will have to fend off competition from Liverpool to land the 20-year-old.

Former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Wharton took no time at all to acclimatise to life in the Premier League earlier this year, having joined Oliver Glasner's side in an £18m switch from Ewood Park.

Wharton set up three goals in 16 Premier League matches in his first half-season at Selhurst Park, form which surprisingly earned him a place in Gareth Southgate's Euro 2024 England squad, although he did not play any minutes in Germany.

Nevertheless, Wharton was hailed as one of the success stories of the January transfer window, as the 2004-born midfielder played an integral role in Palace's stunning end-of-season surge.

Manchester United are reportedly still tracking Brian Brobbey, with the Red Devils contemplating a move for the Ajax striker during next summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old is currently in his second spell with Ajax, and he has represented the Amsterdam giants on 125 occasions in all competitions, scoring 50 goals and registering 19 assists in the process.

Man United have been linked with Brobbey during Erik ten Hag's time at the helm, with the head coach believed to be determined to secure a reunion with the Netherlands international.

According to Fichajes, the 20-time English champions 'lead the way' when it comes to the interest in the striker, but a number of clubs are also in the mix for his signature.

Barcelona are reportedly determined to sign Joshua Kimmich on a free transfer next year, with the Germany international widely expected to leave Bayern Munich at the end of his contract.

There was a host of speculation surrounding Kimmich's future during the summer transfer window, but he stayed with Bayern and will be at Allianz Arena until at least January.

The 29-year-old has again been an important player for Bayern in the early stages of the 2024-25 campaign, playing every minute of their three games in all competitions, including their two Bundesliga fixtures with Wolfsburg and Freiburg.

However, Kimmich is said to want a fresh challenge at this stage of his career, and he is widely expected to end his time at Allianz Arena in 2025.

Vitor Roque has suggested that he is unlikely to represent Barcelona again, with the forward looking to kickstart his career in Europe with Real Betis.

The 19-year-old arrived at Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense in January, and he made 16 appearances for the Catalan outfit in the second half of last season, scoring twice in the process.

However, he was not in new Barcelona manager Hansi Flick's plans for the 2024-25 campaign, and Blaugrana sanctioned a departure to Real Betis in the latter stages of the transfer window.

Roque has joined Manuel Pellegrini's side on loan, but there will be the option to sign him on a permanent basis next summer, and the Brazilian has hinted that he will not be returning to Camp Nou.

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland is reportedly expected to sign a lucrative contract extension with the Premier League champions.

Haaland has showcased his importance to Man City in the opening stages of the new season, having racked up seven goals in the first three Premier League matches.

The Norwegian got on the scoresheet in a 2-0 win over Chelsea, before he scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 home win over newly-promoted Ipswich Town.

Haaland followed that impressive display with another match-winning performance in last Saturday's clash with West Ham United, scoring another hat-trick to fire his side to a 3-1 victory at the London Stadium.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman in the January transfer window.

The Red Devils made five new additions during the summer transfer window, including the signings of two Bayern defenders.

They recruited right-back Noussair Mazraoui and centre-back Matthijs de Ligt, who both previously played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax.

After engaging in productive negotiations with Bayern in the summer, Man United could make an attempt to sign another player from the German club when the transfer market reopens in the new year.

Liverpool could seal Chiesa reunion as Van Dijk replacement 'identified'

Liverpool have reportedly earmarked their ideal replacement for captain Virgil van Dijk, whom they are growing concerned about losing in 2025.

It is well-documented that the Dutchman is in the final year of his contract with the Reds, meaning that he can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January if no new deal is agreed by then.

At 33 years of age, Van Dijk is not expected to be handed a long-term renewal by Anfield chiefs, although the club are thought to be preparing to sit down with his camp and discuss an extension.

Whether an agreement can be reached is another question entirely, as while Van Dijk recently insisted that he was relaxed about his future, he could be offered a once-in-a-lifetime wage by clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea have a plan in place to move Estevao Willian into a different position, according to his agent.

During the summer transfer window, the Blues confirmed that they would be signing the Palmeiras star on July 1 next year in an alleged €57m (£48.12m) deal.

Although FIFA regulations have prevented the 17-year-old from moving to the Premier League until after his 18th birthday, that has not stopped the prospect from starring in South America.

A total of eight goals and seven assists have been recorded in 21 top-flight fixtures, leading to his first-ever call-up to the Brazil senior squad.

Future dilemma: Liverpool winger Salah to receive three Saudi contract offers?

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is reportedly expected to receive multiple contract offers from the Saudi Pro League.

The Egypt international has enjoyed a sensational start to the new campaign, already contributing three goals and three assists in as many Premier League fixtures.

That return has helped the Merseyside giants to victories over Ipswich Town, Brentford and Manchester United respectively, but speculation continues to persist regarding the versatile attacker's future.

With less than 12 months remaining on his contract, that will be the case until the 32-year-old makes a decision on the next phase of his career.

Musiala to Man City: Bayern star addresses future amid exit reports

Jamal Musiala has said that he is "very happy" at Bayern Munich amid suggestions that Manchester City are keen to bring him to the Premier League in the near future.

The Premier League champions are thought to view Musiala as a long-term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who only has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until next summer.

Musiala's deal at Allianz Arena has two years left to run, meanwhile, and it has been suggested that the Germany international could return to England.

The 21-year-old has revealed his happiness at Bayern but admitted that "things can always change quickly in the world of football", with the attacker not closing the door on a move away from Allianz Arena.

Experienced centre-back Jonathan Tah has revealed that he will not be signing a new contract at Bayer Leverkusen and will therefore be leaving the Bundesliga champions in 2025.

There was a host of speculation surrounding the Germany international's future over the summer, with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona heavily linked with his services.

Barcelona are believed to have given serious consideration to moving for Tah in the latter stages of the transfer window, but the Catalan outfit's financial situation prevented them from being able to sign him.

The 28-year-old's contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, though, and he has revealed that this will be his final season with Xabi Alonso's side.
