Half-Time Report: Newport County, Oxford United level

Newport County and Oxford United are level at the break courtesy of Rene Howe's late leveller.

Rene Howe's goal late in the first half has drawn Newport County level against Oxford United at Rodney Parade.

Oxford took the lead with 13 minutes on the clock, as James Constable volleyed home a deep Dave Kitson cross.

The hosts were almost level immediately through Chris Zebroski, whose header had to be tipped over by Ryan Clarke following a hanging corner played into the box.

Oxford looked to be heading for a half-time lead, but with seconds remaining Lee Minshull's long-range effort took a deflection off teammate Howe to draw County level.
