Steve McClaren: 'We need to start winning'

Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren says that his side need to start winning quickly.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren has said that his side needs to start winning after a difficult start to their Championship campaign.

Forest are currently one place above the relegation zone, having taken five points from their opening six matches.

"There are a lot of ingredients in the pot that go together to make it a difficult start," the former England boss told Sky Sports News.

"It's as I expected, we're learning about the league, we're learning about the club, we're learning about the players and they are learning about us.

"Until you find the right blend and balance, after say 12 to 15 games then you know where you are, you find the right blend and hopefully it takes off - but we need to start winning."

McClaren's side face Derby County in the East Midlands derby at the City Ground on Saturday.
