Harry Redknapp: "Queens Park Rangers won't go down"

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp dismisses speculation over his future and predicts that his team will stay in the Premier League this season.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has confidently predicted that his side will stay in the Premier League this season.

The R's were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United on Saturday at Loftus Road to leave them languishing in 19th place, but Redknapp has dismissed speculation over his future.

He told Sky Sports News: "QPR won't go down this year. Someone writes in a newspaper that [I am getting sacked] and it's a load of rubbish, why am I bothered about that?

"Do you think I go home and don't sleep at night? No. Listen, you saw the effort today again and I can't ask for more than that. We'll be OK."

Redknapp's side travel to Stoke City next week.
