Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Bayern Munich are more than capable of knocking his side out of the Champions League semi-finals.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that Bayern Munich are more than capable of knocking his side out of the Champions League semi-finals.

Madrid booked their place in the last four with a comfortable 8-2 aggregate victory over APOEL Nicosia on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Munich edged a step closer to next month's final at their own Allianz Arena with a 4-0 aggregate win over Marseille on Tuesday.

"We have reached our goal, we beat APOEL and we are in the Champions League semi-finals," Ronaldo told reporters. "Now we will face Bayern, it will be a very hard tie. They are a very tough side.

"I do not see myself in the final because Bayern are a side who can win the Champions League."

Barcelona and Chelsea will battle it out over two legs for the other place in the final.
