Gareth Bale aiming to continue goalscoring form

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale reveals that he is delighted with his start to life in Spain after leaving Tottenham Hotspur during the summer.

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has admitted that he is keen to continue his recent form in front of goal.

Bale has scored five goals in his last six games for the La Liga outfit, and the Welsh international has revealed that he has settled into life in Spain after leaving Tottenham Hotspur during the summer.

The 24-year-old told the club's official website: "The welcome has been spectacular. Everyone has really welcomed me, and they have helped me to adapt very quickly and show my football on the pitch.

"I am very happy about everything; it has all turned out very well and I hope that everything will carry on like this.

"I want to carry on working hard, show what I can do on the pitch and score a lot of goals."

Bale is likely to start for Madrid against Real Valladolid on Saturday evening.
