Real Madrid midfielder Isco is happy to remain in the Spanish capital despite his lack of starts under Zinedine Zidane, according to a report.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is reportedly not seeking a way out of the Spanish capital despite his lack of consistent game time under Zinedine Zidane.

The Spain international has turned out five times in La Liga during the 2020-21 campaign but has only started two of those matches and is yet to register a goal contribution for Los Blancos this term.

As a result, speculation has been rife surrounding Isco's next career move, with Everton recently tipped to make a move for the playmaker in order for him to link up with Carlo Ancelotti and James Rodriguez once again.

However, according to Marca, the former Malaga man is giving no thought to a potential exit from the Bernabeu and is content to remain in Madrid in spite of his recent struggles.

The report also claims that there has been no contact from Everton regarding a potential switch to Merseyside, with Toffees manager Ancelotti recently playing down speculation linking Isco with a move to Goodison Park.

The 28-year-old is contracted to Real Madrid until 2022, where he has won two La Liga crowns and four Champions League titles, notching up 51 goals from 312 games along the way.
