Rochdale boss Keith Hill satisfied with point

Rochdale boss Keith Hill insists that he is happy with his team's draw at fellow promotion hopefuls MK Dons.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has insisted that he is satisfied with his side's 2-2 draw with MK Dons despite conceding a late equaliser.

The Dale looked on course for a win at Stadium MK on Tuesday night before Danny Green's 84th-minute strike earned a point for the home team.

Despite being denied a place in the top six of the League One table, Hill believes that his players can be proud of their efforts against their fellow promotion hopefuls.

"I definitely would have accepted a point [before the match]," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "When we're 2-1 up going into the last five minutes of the game you could be a tad disappointed but I don't feel any disappointment whatsoever because of the stretch we're on at the minute."

Rochdale continue their league campaign on Saturday when they entertain Oldham Athletic.
