San Marino manager Pierangelo Manzaroli has warned Roy Hodgson over his comments that the England cricket team could do a job against his side.
The minnows are heavy underdogs in tomorrow's game in Serravalle and despite Hodgson making the comments in jest, Manzaroli has been annoyed by the perceived lack of respect.
Manzaroli told reporters that although he thought the comments were bad, he still respects the England boss and is focused on getting his amateur side as prepared as possible.
He said: "I know very well Roy Hodgson, and he's a very good person and well educated, but when we are front of this media, with this exposure, you have to be careful what you say.
"We are much smaller than England, but we deserve respect like any country. I think it was a bit too much, too heavy, with what he said. It was very strong."
A win for England in San Marino will guarantee their place in Euro 2016.
