Nuno hails Valencia side

Valencia boss Nuno hails his team following Sunday's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad at the Mestalla.

Valencia boss Nuno has praised his side following Sunday's 2-0 win over Real Sociedad.

A second-half double from Pablo Piatti secured all the points for Los Che, who are now just one point behind third-placed Atletico Madrid in the La Liga table.

"I honestly thought that this was a great victory. We read the game well and our fans also helped us," Nuno told reporters.

"It was a good game and one we deserved to win, but now we must rest and recover because we are starting a new week again and need to move forward. The points we have taken so far are good but we want even more."

Valencia travel to Atletico in the league next Sunday.
