Report: Watford pursue Blackburn Rovers' Rudy Gestede

Watford reportedly turn their attentions to signing Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede after completing a club-record move for Etienne Capoue.

Watford have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Rudy Gestede from Blackburn Rovers.

There has been plenty of interest in Gestede after he scored 22 goals for Rovers last season, and Watford are the latest to be linked with the Benin international.

According to The Mirror, the Hornets have been told by Blackburn that they must fork out at least £6m for the striker.

Watford broke their transfer record yesterday by signing Etienne Capoue from Tottenham Hotspur.
