McCarthy expects 'really hard' Fulham game

Mick McCarthy says he expects a "really hard, difficult game" against Fulham.

Mick McCarthy has said he is expecting a "really hard, difficult game" against Fulham this Saturday.

Bottom place Wolves are welcoming The Cottagers to Molineux for their first League game in a fortnight. "Fulham are a good side," McCarthy told the club's official website. "I watched the DVD of their game against Manchester United and they did alright. They've got good footballers and some good players."

Last October, Fulham captain Danny Murphy accused McCarthy of being one of several managers who get their players too "pumped up".

"I'm sure people will drag up Danny Murphy and all of his comments," said McCarthy. "I'm sure people will look to drag the backside out of that one and as usual I'm not interested in talking about it."
