Wolverhampton Wanderers part ways with Walter Zenga?

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly sack head coach Walter Zenga after less than three months at the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly sacked head coach Walter Zenga after less than three months in charge at Molineux.

After the club was purchased by Fosun International, Zenga was quickly appointed as a replacement for Kenny Jackett and he began his reign in style by claiming eight points from his first four Championship games.

However, just six games after Wolves defeated Newcastle United at St James' Park under the watchful eye of their new owners, it has been widely reported that the Italian has been removed from his position at Molineux.

Wolves are currently in 18th position in the table after recording just one point from their last five matches and it appears that the 1-0 defeat at home to Leeds United last weekend has led to a change in management.

Former Olympiacos manager Marco Silva is considered to be the favourite to replace Zenga.
