Andy Murray returns to training after surgery

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray returns to training for the first time since undergoing back surgery in September.

World number four Andy Murray has returned to a tennis court for the first time since he underwent surgery on a back problem.

The 26-year-old brought a premature end to his campaign by undergoing an operation to try to correct the problem that had prevented him from competing at Roland Garros in May.

However, two months after what had been described as a "minor" procedure, the Wimbledon champion has stepped up his recovery by taking part in a practice session in Miami.

Murray is hoping to return to full fitness in time for the Australian Open, which begins in January.
