Europa League roundup: Torino through after memorable win at Athletic Bilbao

Sports Mole rounds up all of the Europa League action from the last-32 encounters, as Torino record a memorable victory in Spain to edge past Athletic Bilbao.

Italian outfit Torino experienced a memorable night as they beat hosts Athletic Bilbao 3-2 on the road to claim a 5-4 aggregate win in the last-32 of the Europa League.

Goals from Fabio Quagliarella, Maxi Lopez and Matteo Darmian were enough to cancel out responding efforts from Andoni Iraola and Oscar de Marcos, ensuring that Giampiero Ventura's men sealed progression into the last 16.

Elsewhere, Club Brugge moved into the next round with consummate ease as they grabbed a 3-0 victory at home to Aalborg BK, with goals from Victor Vazquez, Obbi Oulare and Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo completing a 6-1 demolition.

Napoli also secured safe passage without having too much work to do at home to visiting Trabzonspor, as Jonathan de Guzman gave them a 1-0 victory on the night resulting in a resounding 5-0 overall victory.

In Portugal neither Sporting Lisbon nor Wolfsburg were able to conjure an opening as their contest finished 0-0, leaving the German outfit to progress with a 2-0 victory after the two legs.

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk will also be featuring in the last 16 of the European showpiece after a 2-2 away draw with Olympiacos saw them earn an overall 4-2 victory over the Greek side.

Premier League side Everton continued to make light work of Young Boys, after an impressive brace from Romelu Lukaku built on his hat-trick in the first leg to register a thumping 7-2 aggregate win.

Finally, Roma had to produce some heroics of their own to keep hosts Feyenoord at bay, with the Italian side claiming a 2-1 victory on the road courtesy of Adem Ljajic and Gervinho, who helped to setup a 3-2 aggregate win for the Wolves.
