Sports Mole casts an eye over AC Milan's opening Champions League fixture against Belgian outfit Anderlecht at the San Siro.

Seven-time winners AC Milan will begin their Champions League campaign with a home encounter against Belgian champions Anderlecht.

The Italians have had an indifferent start to the new Serie A season, having lost two of their opening three matches.

Their latest loss was a 1-0 defeat to Atalanta, a game which Riccardo Montolivo missed through a muscular injury. However, the Italian has been passed fit for tomorrow night's encounter.

Former Barcelona striker Bojan has also been tipped to make his full debut for the Rossoneri.

Meanwhile, visiting Anderlecht will have to make do without last year's leading goalscorer Matias Suarez, who recently underwent knee surgery.

The last two times that these two sides have met at this level (1993 and 2006), Milan went on to win the competition.

Recent form:

Milan: LWLLW
Anderlecht: WLWWL

Possible lineups:

Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Bonera, Acerbi, Antonini; De Jong; Ambrosini, Boateng, Montolivo; Pazzini, Bojan

Anderlecht: Proto; Odoi, Wasilewski, Deschacht, Safari; Gillet, Biglia, Kanu, Yakovenko; Mbokani, De Sutter

Sports Mole says: 2-1
