AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri: 'We made too many errors'

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that it is too soon to be writing off AC Milan following last night's 3-2 loss to Juventus.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has taken the positives from last night's 3-2 defeat to Juventus in Turin.

The defeat was the Rossoneri's third in seven games at the start of the Serie A season.

Another poor start to the campaign has increased the pressure on the 46-year-old tactician, but he believes that it is too early to be gauging his team's chances of competing at the top.

"It was a good performance, though we made a few mistakes and allowed Juventus too many chances," Allegri told Sky Sport Italia. "Both sides did well tonight, but we made more errors than they did.

"It's a long season, there is time to recover and we will do everything possible to achieve that. We'll see before the Christmas break where we are.

"The table right now says we have eight points and so that means we deserve eight points. You don't have to be a scientist to see Milan aren't doing well when they only have eight points."

Milan are in 12th place.
